"For the world his death was Archimedes all over again."(JD)
"Chocolate is my Achilles heel"(http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples/examples-of-allusion.html)
"even Darth Vader would cringe at her threatening pinching motions"(JD)
I didn't find any allusions that I liked so I used Google, and my imagination. I believe that all my allusions are used/ and written correctly but I'm a little unsure of the difference between them and analogies... I think the last two are fairly self explanatory(if not then tell me and I will be more specific) so I will elaborate on the first. If I'm not mistaken, the myth goes that Archimedes was the most brilliant mathematician of that age. But when another country conquered Crete(his country) a solder killed him, not knowing who he was, because he was working on a problem and wouldn't leave his work. Even the enemy king was sad at his death because of all the things Archimedes would have accomplished had his life not been cut short.
